OUR MISSION

What we want to do is serve artisanal coffee and to provide information about small-batch roasters and farms led by women, to understand coffee production. We want everyone to recognize the challenges that women face in a male-dominated business.

This means that women tend to be the ones who are not in charge, and this can lead to mistreatment within families as most coffee farms are family owned. Most of their male counterparts tend to be the ones to run the business, which make the women invisible as the ones who do the most important parts, the coffee picking and harvesting. Without this first step, there would be no coffee production. The hard labor that women have to go through needs to be known as it is a fact that 80% of coffee farmers are women.

Queens Cupping is a local coffee shop where people can form social bonds by participating in monthly cuppings with different beans from different women-powered roasters. This is so we can build a community of coffee lovers and people who want to learn more about coffee and help to spread awareness about the women in coffee producing countries.

We serve coffee drinks made only by specific beans that help female-forward organizations.

The coffee shop does not serve any food and is strictly a center for coffee education and the sale of well-sourced beans.

Additionally, we use recyclable and reusable resources to promote a cleaner environment.
