Queens Cupping
My last project for City College's B.F.A. Electronic Multimedia & Design program was a brand for a third wave coffee shop that promotes women's empowerment by introducing coffee farmers and their beans to the local audience in New York City.
Underneath, is a book that shows the entire abstract to the thought process behind creating this brand. In here, you may also find inspiration from different coffee shops on packaging, illustration and patterns. This also includes the methodology, installation plan, and equipment.

Cafe Brand Identity.
I wanted to capture the organic beauty of women in the coffee industry by highlighting coffee farmers who have started it all, from bean to cup.
Through intensive research and establishing my target audience, I have created a brand mixture between sophisticated third wave coffee shop and a women empowered learning experience.
Business card consists of a large cup in Queens Cupping's signature pink color which is prevalent throughout the brand. The stamp marks are kiss marks which connects to the brand's logo, a pink cup with lipstick residue.
Envelope design is clean and unbusy, leaving lots of room for personal writing. The inside is decorated with gold foil, much deserving of queens.

Throughout the brand, there are many illustrative elements that introduce the playfulness of the brand and the geometric text give a modern feel for the current trends within coffee branding. On the other side, is photography that embodies the nature of the women behind the scenes who are doing all the work within the coffee world.
